RacingDatabase.com is an independent, free directory comparing UK racehorse syndicates and racing clubs. It exists because the only comprehensive list – the Racehorse Syndicates Association's members page – is just text, and the costs and terms vary hugely between operators.
How the data is gathered
- We start from the RSA members list and then read each syndicate's own website (ownership, FAQ, pricing and terms pages). Where a syndicate's site won't load or publishes nothing, we may use its In The Paddock listing, its own X profile or a named press feature, and the field says so (e.g. "ITP listing").
- We only record what a syndicate publishes. If we can't verify a field, it stays blank. We never estimate prices.
- Prices are quoted as shown on the source page on the "last checked" date, including whether VAT is stated. Where a syndicate lists several horses, we show the range or the cheapest example and say so.
- "Badge policy" is our summary: Guaranteed = the syndicate says every owner gets a badge when the horse runs; Allocated by share size = badges depend on % held; Ballot / not guaranteed = badges aren't promised to everyone.
- "Based" (region) is only shown when a source says where the syndicate or its trainer is (48 listings so far). "Number of horses" says who stated it.
- Trainers and Flat/Jumps marked "2026 runners" come from official 2026 race results under the syndicate's name, where the syndicate's own site doesn't say. 2026 wins are counted from the same results: see how we count.
- "Possibly inactive" means its website is gone or out of date and we found no 2026 runners under its name. We keep the listing so you can see that, rather than deleting it.
- "BHA licence / registration" records only what the syndicate states about itself. Check the BHA directly if this matters to you.
- Every profile links its sources. Syndicates can claim their listing to correct or update details; changes are checked against a public source before publishing.
