What's New On RacingDatabase.com This Week
Contract and exit terms compared, BHA register ticks, Irish and Scottish listings, a monthly Price Index, gifts, league tables and three new guides: everything we've added since 21 Oct.

It's been a busy few days. Since 21 October we've added a lot to the site, all free and built the same way as everything else: from each syndicate's own published information and official results, with the sources linked.
Here's a quick tour, with a link to each one.
Contract And Exit Terms Compared
How long are you signed up for, can you leave early, and what happens to the horse at the end? On 24 Oct we read the websites of 89 UK syndicates and racing clubs: 14 publish their full terms or agreement online, and 52 publish at least some contract or exit terms. The page shows what each one says, in its own words, next to what the BHA says a syndicate agreement must cover.

BHA Register Ticks
Since 1 January 2026, anyone running a syndicate or racing club that advertises publicly, or is paid to run it, needs a licence from the BHA. We checked the BHA's public register on 24 Oct and found 85 of the UK syndicates and clubs in our directory on it. Each one now shows a tick on its profile, linked to its register entry.
Ireland, In Euros As Published
We now list 11 racing clubs and syndicates in the Republic of Ireland. Irish clubs charge in euros, so we show every price exactly as the club publishes it and never convert it.
Scotland
8 Scottish syndicates and racing clubs now have their own region page, from the Scottish Borders to near Dumfries, with club memberships from £156 a year.
The Syndicate Price Index
Once a month we take a snapshot of published UK prices and record the median first-year cost. The first snapshot, for October 2026, puts it at £910 across the 30 listings we could cost, ranging from £99 to £8,950. A new month is added on the 1st.
Racehorse Share Gifts
On 23 Oct we read the websites of 94 syndicates and clubs, and 13 say you can buy for someone else: 4 sell gift vouchers and 9 set up a gift share or membership. Vouchers start at £10.
League Tables
Who's winning on the Flat, over jumps, month by month and at each racecourse. From official results between 1 Jan and 21 Oct 2026, the syndicates and clubs in our directory have 611 UK and Irish wins.

Three New Guides
- What happens when a syndicate horse retires? We read 101 syndicate and club websites: 22 say how they rehome or retire a horse, and 6 say what happens to your fees once it stops racing.
- Racing clubs under £100: 4 UK options with one payment under £100 and no monthly fee, with shares from £37.
- Lease vs buy: owning, sharing or leasing a racehorse, explained with real costs.
A Redesigned Guides Page
All 15 guides are now grouped by topic, with a Start Here row for newcomers and a reading time on every guide.
