The Syndicate Awards 2026 Are Here: Nine Awards Decided By Official Race Results
Nine awards for the UK and Irish syndicates and racing clubs we list, worked out purely from 2026 official race results. No judges, no votes, no fees. Shortlists on 1 December, winners on Thursday 7 January 2027.

Which syndicate is having the best year? We've launched the RacingDatabase.com Syndicate Awards 2026 to settle it with nothing but the numbers. There's no entry form and no panel of judges: every syndicate and racing club listed on RacingDatabase.com is in automatically, and the standings so far are already up.
The Nine Awards
- Syndicate Of The Year: the most wins.
- Best Strike Rate: the highest share of runs won, for syndicates with 50 or more runs.
- Best Strike Rate, Mid-Size: the same, for 20 to 49 runs.
- Small Syndicate Of The Year: the most wins from 5 or fewer different horses (15 or more runs).
- Racing Club Of The Year: the most wins by a racing club.
- Irish Syndicate Of The Year: the most wins by a listing based in Ireland, Northern Ireland included.
- Scottish Syndicate Of The Year: the most wins by a listing based in Scotland.
- Every Horse Counts: the highest share of horses that won at least once (5 or more horses).
- Best Affordable Racing: the best strike rate (20 or more runs) among listings with a published estimated first year of £1,000 or less.
How The Winners Are Decided
Only 2026 official race results count: every run and win in Great Britain and Ireland from 1 January to 31 December 2026, for listed syndicates only. It's the same counting as our winners leaderboard and league tables. Strike rate is wins ÷ runs, and the minimum number of runs in each award stops one lucky winner from taking a prize.
If two syndicates are level, fewer runs comes first, then more different winning horses, then the most recent win. A syndicate can win more than one award, and Premium members and Featured Partners get no advantage. The full rules are in How The Awards Are Decided.
Who's Leading So Far
These are results to 28 October 2026, so nothing is final, and the standings update every Thursday.

Irish listings priced in euros qualify for this one at a published first year of €1,150 or less, worked out from their own euro prices. We never convert between pounds and euros. Four Irish clubs pass the price test today, but none has reached 20 runs yet. The first-year figures come from each syndicate's own published prices, explained on our cheapest syndicates page.
Scottish Syndicate Of The Year

| 1 | Johnnie Delta Racing | 15 wins from 130 runs |

The top 3 in the other six awards, including Grange Park Racing with 5 winners from 5 horses and MRC International leading the Irish award, are on the awards page.

Badges For The Shortlist And The Winners

Spotted A Missing Win?
Our matching works from the owner name on each official result, so a horse racing under a members' or company name can slip through. If we've missed a run or a win, report a correction or use our contact form by Tuesday 15 December, with the date, the course and the horse, and we'll check it.
The awards celebrate past results. They aren't tips or a recommendation to join any syndicate, so always check the costs and the agreement first. If you're new to all this, our free guide Your First Racehorse Share walks you through it, and you can compare every syndicate side by side.
