Who We Are
RacingDatabase.com is an independent comparison site for UK and Irish racehorse syndicates and racing clubs. In these terms "we" means RacingDatabase.com and "you" means the syndicate, club or business taking a Premium listing or the Featured Partner slot. Our postal address is RacingDatabase.com, Unit 174904, PO Box 7169, Poole, BH15 9EL. The quickest way to reach us is our contact form.
These terms are for businesses. Premium and Featured Partner are sold to the people who run syndicates, clubs and related businesses, not to people joining one.
What You Get
Premium adds the extras listed on our Premium page to your free listing: an enquiry form, Shares Available Now, your logo, photos, video and description, open days and events, the ✓ Verified badge once we've checked your registration, winner shout-outs and monthly stats. Featured Partner is a month of promotion, as described on our advertise page: the single Featured strip and badge, a labelled newsletter feature and social posts, with Premium included. We don't promise any number of page views, clicks or enquiries.
Prices And Billing
Premium is £99 a year at the founding price, for the first 25 syndicates and clubs, and stays at that price for as long as you stay subscribed. After that it's £199 a year. Featured Partner is £249 a month, booked a month at a time. No VAT is charged. Premium payments are taken by Stripe, our payment provider, and renew automatically each year until you cancel. We agree how to pay for Featured Partner when you book it. If we ever change a price for new members, we'll tell existing members at least 30 days before it affects their next renewal, and founding prices stay locked.
Free Trial
Premium starts with a free trial. Your trial runs until the date shown on your Stripe receipt, and Stripe emails you a reminder 7 days before it ends. If you cancel before then, you pay nothing. If you don't, your first yearly payment is taken when the trial ends.
Cancelling And Refunds
You can cancel any time from your billing page or by contacting us. Your extras then carry on until the end of the period you've paid for, and your free listing carries on as normal. If you're not happy, ask within 30 days of your first Premium payment and we'll refund it in full. Apart from that, payments for a period that has started aren't refunded.
Our Trust Rules
Paying never changes the facts we list or the order of any comparison, sort, league table or Matchmaker result. Premium and Featured are always labelled as paid. Corrections are checked the same way for everyone. The full rules are on our Premium page, and they apply whatever else these terms say.
What You Send Us
You confirm that the photos, logo, video, description, shares and events you send us are accurate and that you have the right to let us publish them. We may shorten or edit what you send for length, clarity or accuracy, and we can decline anything that's misleading, unlawful or about betting or gambling. We aim to make changes within two working days. You can ask us to remove any of it at any time.
Enquiries
Enquiries from your page are sent to the email address you give us, and we keep a copy, as our privacy policy explains. You agree to use an enquirer's details only to reply to their enquiry and to handle them in line with UK data protection law.
The Verified Badge
We add the ✓ Verified badge only after we've checked your BHA registration (GB) or HRI registration (Ireland) and your contact details. We remove it if the registration lapses or we can no longer confirm it. That doesn't end your Premium listing.
Ending A Listing
We can end Premium or Featured Partner if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by sending misleading information. If we end it for any other reason, we'll refund the unused part of the period you've paid for. Your free listing stays unless you ask us to remove it.
Liability
We take care to keep the site running and your page accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes And Law
We may update these terms. We'll tell members by email at least 30 days before a change that affects them, and you can cancel before it applies. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the courts of the United Kingdom can deal with any dispute.
